Joseline Torres, LMSW
Hello, my name is Joseline Torres! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who was born and raised here in Arizona. I have over 8 years of experience working with children and adolescents in different mental health settings such as inpatient, outpatient, in-home, and school-based.
I started my social work journey by volunteering for an organization that helped promote awareness on all aspects of exploitation, abuse, and self-harm. This volunteer experience helped spark something in me to want to continue to help those in need, which meant further developing more skills/experience to be able to advocate, support, and empower someone through their treatment journey!
I have continued to step into multiple different roles but with the same end goal of creating a safe, supportive, and strengths-based environment for all. Some therapeutic techniques I utilize to help address depression, anxiety, impulsivity, self-esteem, and trauma-related concerns include DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Behavior Therapy, Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused Techniques, and Person-Centered.
